DJ Arbie Won, DJ and owner of the Treskul Records & Cafe in Quezon City, the Philippines shares classic Pinoy Jazz tunes! The Philippines was once known as the ‘Jazz Capital of Asia’, and Arbie’s mix includes many of the scene’s giants, including tunes from Bong Penera, pianist and guitarist who plays a Brazilian influenced Samba & Bossa Nova Jazz, the groovy Big Band sounds of the Jazz Friends, the funky fusion of Boy Katindig, and even a tune from Filipina-American sisters vocal group The Third Wave.
