Guest selector Hiroki Igarashi is the owner of the curry shop “GO-MARU-DO in Sapporo city, and a popular DJ at clubs like the world-famous Precious Hall. Igarashi learned about jazz under the late Mikio Sakai, owner of the legendary jazz cafe “act:” in Sapporo (open 1970-1986). Sakai-san helped book concerts in Japan by acts such as the Art Ensemble Of Chicago and the George Adams & Don Pullen Quartet, helping to create a strong jazz scene in the Hokkaido region. Igarashi-san continues this tradition by playing jazz in his curry shop, and when DJing. This mix captures the essence of the jazz sounds he grew up with in Sapporo.
今回のゲストは、札幌でジャズが聴けるカレー店「カリー乃 五○堂」の店主で、Precious HallでDJとしても活躍する五十嵐 広樹さん。札幌の伝説的ジャズ喫茶「act:」の店主、故坂井幹生さんに師事し、モダンジャズは勿論、ヨーロッパのジャズやフリー系にも精通した「act:」の意思を受け継いでいます。「act:」（1970年〜1986年)は、Art Ensemble Of ChicagoやGeorge Adams&Don Pullen Quartetなどを北海道に招きジャズを広めた日本の重要なお店でした。実験的な現在のジャズも豊富に取り入れた五十嵐さんの選曲をどうぞお楽しみください。
