The 101 Mix series is back, today going to Brazil! Obviously it’s impossible to introduce all the musical styles of Brazil in one short mix, so in this 101 we’re going to hear just a handful of famous musicians from this musical powerhouse. Some Carioca funk from Rio, music from Salvador in Bahia in northeast Brazil, MPB, current Rap and Pop, Forro music from the countryside, Jazz, Rock and of course plenty of Samba.

Back in March 2011, while on a trip to the Nagoya area to visit his wife's family, Plainstone hit the local record shops as always, looking for hidden treasures.
